BMW Vision EfficientDynamics is as exhilarating as it is efficient, combining the performance of a BMW M Model with the fuel consumption and emissions of a modern small car. It's a near-production-ready vehicle whose integrated engineering concept features ActiveHybrid technology and takes BMW EfficiencyDynamics to the next level. The result is a fuel consumption of just 3.76 litres/100 km and CO2 emissions of 99 g/km (50 g/km in electric-only operation, based on EU electricity mix).

A latest-generation BMW ActiveHybrid full hybrid with plugin technology. Powered by a three-cylinder common-rail turbodiesel and an electric motor on each axle. And featuring the very latest in brake energy regeneration for recharging  the 98 highly efficient lithium-polymer batteries during the journey. Other highlights: active aerodynamics - and evolution of the air vent control system, a thermoelectric generator for on-board power supply and the latest in intelligent energy management.
